Blogtober

(Last Updated On: 01/10/2020)

I have been tagged by Jupiter from Life with Jupiter and Dann and Claire St at Stapo’s Thrifty Life Hacks to take part in the Blogtober tag – thanks ladies!

What’s your favorite fall scent?

I’m not sure if this is the kind of answer the question is looking for but I love going for an evening walk and smelling the smoke from people’s chimneys or bonfires. I also love the change in the seasons as I get to wear my favourite perfume, this Tom Form Tobacco Vanille dupe.

Do you prefer pumpkin pie or apple pie?

Apple pie every time!

What’s one autumn tradition you have?

I’m not sure we really have any, other than getting out for lots of walk as I love the sunny but chilly days that Autumn brings.

What are you planning on dressing up as for Halloween?

For obvious reasons, plans for Halloween this year are on hold. My daughter however is obsessed with Halloween so we will definitely do something – even if it is to just get dressed up at home and eat sweets. Would love to coordinate with my daughter so might dress up as Morticia and Wednesday Addams 🙂

What are you most excited for in Fall?

Walking on crunchy leaves, wrapping up warm, snuggling under a blanket.

What is your favourite scary movie?

Confession… I hate scary movies. I am a real scaredy cat. I think I needed therapy after seeing The Blair Witch Project. I’d much rather watch a fun family Halloween film like the Hotel Transylvania series.

What is your favourite Halloween candy?

I don’t really have a sweet tooth… luckily my daughter and husband do so they can help me out with eating any sweeties!

Favourite Pumpkin Spiced flavour thing?

Controversial answer but I really don’t like the flavour of pumpkin spice! I generally find Starbucks holiday drinks far too sickly sweet and a sip of their PSL has put me off this flavour for life.

What is your warmest Fall memory?

A few years ago, one October, we rented a holiday cottage with an open fire and I remember toasting marshmallows – magical. We now have a fire pit in our garden so I’d love to recreate this memory this year with our kids.

What is your favourite autumn must have?

A heated throw (we have this one and it has actually changed our life) and a Netflix subscription – bliss!
