I signed up for The Bike Club recently as I wanted my kids to have the experience of riding light-weight, premium bikes but I didn’t want the huge upfront expense. My 6 year old daughter now has a brand new Frog 53 and my 5 year old son has a Frog 44 thanks to the Bike Club. For both of these together I am paying £24.98 a month. We spend a lot of time playing outside so for my family, less than £1 a day for my kids to have high quality bikes is a good investment. If I were to buy these two bikes outright I would face an upfront cost of £850 – yikes. I like how if one of my kids has a sudden growth spurt, for a small admin fee I can exchange a bike for a bigger one and I don’t need to worry about having to sell a second hand bike, which, if you’ve ever used Facebook Marketplace or Gumtree, you’ll know is a lot of hassle.

The bikes were delivered to my door only two days after I placed my order which was brilliant. They were really easy to set up, it only took about 5 minutes per bike to get them ready to be taken for their first ever spin by my very excited kids.
