August 2018 Goals: How Did I Do?

As usual, I set my goals at the beginning of the month – now that we have reached the end of August, here’s how I did:


Track all expenditure
FAIL. I don’t know what happened, I think it’s because I knew August was going to be an expensive month so instead of tracking all my expenditure, I just decided to bury my head in the sand instead. I feel terrible for falling back into an old habit. September WILL be a better month!


Get back in the gym
Did it! I’m not going to be becoming a fitness model any time soon, but I went to the gym a few times. Now that I’ve started, I must keep the momentum up.


Have two date nights with my husband
Done – these are my favourite type of goals to achieve! We had two nights out seeing comedy shows at the Edinburgh Fringe. It’s difficult because going out is so good for my mental health and our relationship but so bad for our bank balance, but overall I wouldn’t be without date nights.
